So, i'm thinking of buying a Dell 1557/1558 for my work. But i've seen many compliants about the series chronic DPC latency issues. i work mainly as a DJ and a producer, as well as editing videos and sound so the audio part is very important to me.
I am aware that the issues proposed are all long time ago, with earlier 153x/173x models, but still i want to ask that are the 155x models affected by DPC latency issues anymore?
any help is appreciated. thanks :D

p.s.: just in case the 155x are affected by the issue, i also have 2 external soundcards: a Creative X-Fi Surround USB and a Native Instrument Audio 2 DJ (both are used with ASIO4ALL for Traktor, FL and Ableton Live) can i disable the onboard sound card and use these two cards properly, or will i still be affected by the spikes?
