the biggest idiot i am, i spilt a glass of milk all over my dell studio 1555, a week to this day.

i switched off the system as fast as i could (the screen was flickering heavily and the computer was not responding to me pressing the power off so i took out the power cable)

one week later drying It wont switch on or start up, thankfully the hard drive was still in tact, so ive recovered the data and i think the system is pretty much dry

Anyone care to give me some advice? im pretty sure the motherboard is toast or something serious like that. really dont know what to do. its in dells warantee but i dont think it coveres things like accidential damage

    might just buy a desktop..
