hi. like the title says i wanna upgrade my intel t6400 processor to a t9600 but just wanted to confirm i was able to. My motherboard says its a op171h but on the program cpu-z it says its a op132h. Also its a socket P(478) and has the ati mobility radeon HD 3400 graphics. Any help/suggestions is appreciated.

The T9600 should work fine with the PM45 chipset.

Thanks for the reply. Where can I find the chipset number? Is it one that is marked on where the processor goes?

Another question. I have 4gb of ram how can I tell if the motherboard supports more ram? The t9600 that I'm trying to get supports 8gb. Thanks
