    Dell Studio 1535 webcam Quality Problemz !!!

    Hey guys
    I bought new Dell studio 1535.
    with 4gb ram, 2Gcore2due etc.
    My webcam setting isnt right.
    (i am in my room's bright environment)
    see this is the picture takken with default settingz

    even if i increase gamma and brightness,, then quality is shaky.
    .can anybody tellme the exact settingz. please
    i hope i convayed my problm..

    Hello bud.
    You have activated some camera effect - just find what effect is activated and turn it off.
    Or uninstall the whole programs for your camera and stay clean with only driver installed!

    Try with Default Vista driver too - for me it works very good and in new vista sp 2 it actually works better than Creatives'!

    effects are off
    i ll try to remove the driver and put it on again...

    Try with Window Driver - Vista has driver for your camera and you practically no need Dell's driver!

    that is most definitely an effect or a driver issue, try reinstalling the driver

    Reading the rest of the thread is a good thing, you know. If you had bothered to do that, you would know that the OP already reinstalled the driver, and has no effects on.

    i hv tried installing the default vista driver but doesnt work..
    any other suggestion please

    If the default Vista driver doesn't help, try the Creative driver from Dell's support page.

    First I thought that its def some effect. But then may be its just the poor performance under low light. Mine too is not even 10% as good as it is under proper day light. Check how it works in daylight

    Hi. im sorry guys im bumping this topic after long.
    i am still facing same problem.
    And yes. its indor. whenever i go outdoor, it performs so well.
    but in my room, it performs so bad. well i think my room has enough light. but i cant stand its performance. and i have to use it indor. wat to do guys
    please help
