Seeing as the 1535 and 1555 are nearly identical cosmetically save for a couple of ports and such, I don't really think you can call either more "beautiful" than the other. You could argue that some of the fancy lid designs for the 1555 are more attractive than the solid colors for the 1535, but it's really personal preference.

Personally I think both are fairly generic looking and not that "beautiful" in the first place.

I have one on my Studio 17 and I consider it worse than useless. The buttons are invisible until you've pressed them. After I've pressed the button I don't need to know what it was. I need to know before I press it!

Hey hey kids, we all know it's what's inside that counts... :D :D :D

I like my 1537 because of those touch buttons though I do agree they should be lit all the time. The 1555 and 1557's insides are more powerful though which I'd prefer. Too bad those weren't around when I ordered my original 1535 over a year ago (that thing had a flexing mobo + a billion other problems...) :p

I like the 1555's black display bezel much better than my old 1535's gray one. The 1555 has a somewhat more minimalist design without the media buttons, which I like.

But essentially, they are both Studio 15's, and there's really no significant difference in their appearances. That said, I would never get a 1535 just because its technology is horribly outdated: Intel 965 chipset, 800MHz FSB, 667MHz DDR2 memory, ATi 3450 graphics...

I like the look of the standard chain design of 1555 and I like the media buttons a lot. As far as the missing HD and Caps lock Led's I do not miss them.

Over all I love the design its Sexy

I actually wish they had stuck with the Jet Black rubberized finish instead of the high-gloss Black Chainlink. It's sexy, but it's way too much effort to keep fingerprints off.
