    Dell Studio 1535 DVD/CD Drive Problem

    Every time I load either a CD or DVD into my computer it spits the disc back out when I try to open it or explore and tells my to insert a disc in. I put the disc back in and it does this every **** time.

    Anyone know of a remedy?

    What steps have you taken so far? Uninstall Drivers. Download driver from dell. Check for Firmware updates. Try system restore. Try Reformat. ?

    Which drive do you have? There seem to be certain drives exhibiting this problem more than others.
