Before minute I just checked Dell's Web site and I found New BIOS Available:
    http://support.euro.dell.com/suppor...-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=1&fileid=286981
i STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TO FULLY CHARGE YOUR BATTERY, BEFORE BIOS UPDATE!
MY BATTERY WEAR LEVEL INCREASES 3 TIMES BECAUSE MY BATTERY WAS NOT FULLY CHARGED (IT IS ONLY THEORY FOR NOW) BUT PLEASE BE SURE YOUR BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED BEFORE BIOS UPDATE.

Someone on Version A6 - any comments?!

Just noticed this on the US Dell site and came to report it... The listed fixes are:

    Fixes/Enhancements
    ------------------
    1. Added enhancement for Wifi catcher function.
    2. Added enhancement for Embedded controller.

    US Version Link: http://ftp.us.dell.com/bios/1535_A06.EXE

Edit: WiFi Catcher now works on my Studio 1535 when machine is sleep.

I have had to reload the image on my Studio 1535 twice and go through numerous "system restores". Dell suggested the BIOS update but of course it wouldn't install on Vista 64. Booted from CD and finally got A06 installed. So far it seems to have fixed me problems. (it's only been 2 days). Dell was suggesting reloading from the non existent Vista DVD they claimed was included in my order. Don't see how that would have helped if it was a BIOS problem. They are sending me the missing DVD but I hope I don't have to use it...
BIOS A05 seems to be BAD.

Odd you had problems updating in Vista 64... I had no problems upgrading in Vista x64 Ultimate as that's all I run.
