If anybody has their studio laptop yet, PLEASE PLEASE test the headphone jack. I returned my 1520 alst year THREE times before giving up on it becauseof the dang headphone jack noise.

Also, how is the size of this laptop compared to the bulky 1520? Does having the LED screen option make the laptop any thinner?

How is the battery life with default battery? is the larger capacity battery stick out much?

Is the keyboard good? if its anything like the XPS line or inspriron line, im staying away.

    thanks

I would also like to know if the LED screen will make the notebook thinner. No mention of this on Dell web site. However, their XPS with LED screen option is a little bit thinner than regular LCD.

take a look at the thread of "My Studio 15 just arrived!!!!", and you'll see some pics of the backlit keyboard, it's great, it's amazing.... there are some pics of the Studio 15 with a 9-cell battery, just google images for Studio 15.
It sticks out a bit, it looks like the M1530 with the 9-cell battery...

The LED screen is thinner on the M1330.
