I have the Dell Studio 15 and would love to use the 10-key pad. I know that I can hold the <FN> Key and press the number, but is there a way to lock it so I can just hit the number?

I searched and did not find anything. Thanks amigos

It's a bios setting isn't it? Pretty sure I saw the option in there somewhere on my Studio 17.

Doesn't the Studio 17 have a dedicated 10-key number pad built in? The Studio 15 has numbers piggybacking on the U, I, O and J, K and L keys. I've never managed to acclimate to a numeric keypad that's integrated into the alpha keys.

I keep hoping that someone (hopefully Dell) will copy ASUS's lead and include a dedicated numeric keypad on a 15.4" notebook also. ASUS M50, M51 and G50 (basically all 15.4" ASUS notebooks) have a full standard keyboard plus a numeric keypad, just as 17" desktop replacement models typically have.....it's a great idea, but hasn't caught on yet, apparently.....
