    Hi my name is Trevor,

I have currently a Dell studio 15 and the problem has to do with the screen or rather the entire lid is loose. When i close the lid it doesn't close completely I.E. it's propped up 1/2 inch . Another thing is where the power button is located on the right side, where the lid connects to the base of the computer? That aswell is is pushing outwards. Then on the left side theres the same problem but the plastic that covers half of well... I'm not sure exactly what you would call it but its not connected so it hangs loose thus making the screen unstable..

I have the 2 year warrenty from Dell, yet im curious if this is something that they can fix? Or do i have to outsource to some local computer person?

Thank you for your time and advice.

This is something Dell should fix. Call them up and describe your problem...
