I was at Best Buy today, and I saw the Dell 15z. It is really nice, but I wanted something slightly smaller, like a studio 14. However, I really like the look/feel of the cover/lid on the 15z. It is not shiny, but somewhat matte/rubber feeling. Whatever it is, I really like it. Does the Dell Studio 14 come with that cover/lid? I am not a fan of the shiny cover, and if they studio 14 came in that cover, I may be ready to pull the trigger. Thanks.

The lid has a nice thick matte finish with a rubberized surface!(the 14z) :D
and of course you can head over to Dell.com and customize it ;)

any color besides black chainlink will not be shiny. I cant wait to get a new bezel for mine. The shiny lid sucks so much.
