So I just picked up a Dell 2412M, and i was annoyed that the 80 dollar off coupon for it expired last week.. but knowing how pliable dell SMB is I got them to give it to me for 308, taxed and shipped AND they gave me the new soundbar (ay511).

I see it has a standard RCA/Phono sub out jack back there.

Does a standalone Sub (something on a PC level, not a 200 dollar Polk or something) exist that can actually work with this sound bar n takes a RCA or mini RCA line in?

I haven't seen one in years.. and they were always of crap quality. This isn't for gaming or music, I have headphones and JBL studios for the good stuff, but I want something to fill out the sound, I HATE 2.0 speakers, 2.1 is a minimum.

As far as I can tell Creative and Logitech and Altec Lansing no longer make any. Any suggestions? I'll check HK, forgot about them.

EDIT: Also, is that RCA sub output just a passthrough? Or are there actually cutoffs/crossovers in that Unit. I highly doubt it but just wanted to double check.

Nevermind, found the answers I needed, picked up the lowest end sony powered sub I could find. They're line level passthroughs btw on the soundbar output.
