This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I noticed that when you configure a notebook in the home section the price on the right includes VAT. When done in the small business section it does not. Is this because you don't pay VAT if its for business? I'm in the UK if it makes any difference.

    I believe you do pay VAT, but I'm not sure how that works out for you.
    This is from Wikipedia:
    "Personal end-consumers of products, consumers and services cannot recover VAT on purchases, but businesses are able to recover VAT on the materials and services that they buy to make further supplies or services directly or indirectly sold to end-users."
