    Dell Shipping Question: Non-Laptop order

    I had to order some Accessories from dell over the weekend. Problem is the shipping ESD is scheduled after my notebooks ESD. Have non notebook orders been plagued as long as all the other delays people have been having with Notebooks?

    Well, if you ordered the notebook and the accessories on the same order they might not ship everything until the notebook has shipped. Then again, if you did not order everything all at once it is more likely something else is getting delayed or you just ordered the accessories much later (like maybe this weekend :D).

    But no, the supply issues that are affecting the notebooks should not (in general) be affecting anything else at Dell.

    actually, due to delays on the laptop, you will probably get the accesories first.also i ordered my 1720on the 7th of aug, and my accesories on the 14th of aug, and got my carrying case on the 17th of aug.it will probably ship one day after you ordered it.

    I ordered a printer at the same time as my laptop and its ESD was on the 19th. But a few days ago, I got an email saying its delayed until the 24th, which is a day after the ESD on my laptop (Though my laptop hasnt even entered boxing yet, so its probably going to be delayed).

    But who knows, it could just be because a lot of peopled order printers with laptops.
