the guy said x software had expired and they needed to fix it for free for me. They relayed my service tag and had all my personal information which is scarey! I knew off the bat it was a scam but I phished to see how much they knew.

Is there anything I should be concerned with seeing as they had all my information including my fiancés laptop purchase too!

At the end when I dropped a bunch of choice words the guy fired back at me equally! Damn scammers!

The hilarious thing is that they called back a few hours later (different guy) saying he was from Dell and we were owed a refund LMAO. Told him the same thing to go promptly FO so hopefully they won't bother with me as they know I won't fall for it.

Any chance your dell login and linked in account had the same credentials? ... or one of the many other leaks that are out there?... odd that they had your info...

No I've had no breaches in any logins, but I mean I guess if someone really wanted to find you anybody can with enough time...I doubt it though.

It sounds like my info leaked from Dell somehow. The fact they had my fiancés laptop as well is clue as it's the only time I've bought her a laptop...

I'll change my Dell login to be safe though
