So I decide to return my xps m1530 and get a return authorization # and the rep said the info will be at the shippers, and it was. So I paid about $35 in shipping costs and insurance. (the laptop was not defective). They printed out a label and set it on its way. About 9 days later I got a call from the shippers saying Dell refused delivery and to come pick it up where I had sent it from. I called Dell and they said whoever handled my return had it shipped to the wrong Dell address and everything would be straightened out by reshipping it to the correct address and expediting my credit refund and I would get a phone call in 3 days which is today, informing me of the status. No pone call and no status. I called Dell and found the laptop is still sitting at shippers and nothing has been done. Again I was assured everything would be taken care of and that the laptop would be shipped to the correct address and that my credit refund would be expedited.
I now know what drives people to go postal.

i know what you feel like:

i had a few dells, with MANY problems:

Started with Desktop-fell apart in a year
Then XPS 600-failed 4 times in a month (Top of line at time)
XPS 700-piece of junk with low performance for price
E1705-got WAY to hot with 7900 for me.
now have m1730-seems to WORK well-hopefully... decent price for gaming-just ask dell for credits-they will give them to you for your issue
