    Hi,
    I recently recieved a Dell E1705 laptop with Vista Premium. I installed the Dell Resource CD successfully once, but i can't install it again due to this error:

    I have attempted to reinstall this program multiple times and get the same end result. The resource CD is in the drive so I know that isnt the problem. Any ideas on how to solve this?


    Any help is greatly appreciated!!

    Found the answer on Dells site, you must have the User Account Control (UAC) on for some reason.
