    Hello,

I am really a newb....I would like to know how's the Dell repair Depot?

I have read so much horror stories about people's bad experience with the dell repair depot, that I am kinda worried to send mine. I am wondering if it has improved..

The problem of my inspiron e1505 is when I open media center program..my screen would shut off..so been with technical support for over 5 hours doing diagnostic and finally he said there is something wrong with the video card, so sending it to the repair depot is necessary...

I was asked to removed the hard drive, but to send it in with the battery and ac adapter.

I would like to know if the info I got is correct according to all of you guy's experience..

Thnaks in advance for your advice.

When I sent mine laptop in for a new mother board I had to leave the HD in but why can't they just send you the Video Card and you install it.
