Dell Rep says: M1330 Remote comes when you buy TV tuner

Hmm... I've heard stories from people saying that the remote comes no matter what, but it seems like things have taken a turn once again.

I didn't list OS becuase it's got a lot of SKUs but it's Vista Premium which I don't think is significant to hardware here

Now he also claims for those of us who are not fortunate enough to get it in time, we can buy it as a seperate Addon but there's nothing we can do to claim it since it'll be a different "promotion" according to this rep.

At all. I just thought it comes standard and did not even question it. I best get it otherwise i'll send it back. Oh yeh, i have not even got it yet lol.

 

Come on, they don't have a clue! NONE of the rep ever touched a 1330! The remote and the earbuds are included, it's written in the presentation of the laptop on Dell's website. The TV remote is surely a different one. If you don't have it when you receive the laptop, call them, and demand it. It's written all over the place, so they must include them.

 

I ordered in mexico and in the confrirmation email it inclufes the RC and the earbuds

 

hey mudoc what did you end up paying for your system, did you get any deals other than the $100.00 off from the coupon?

 

Im in Canada and each of my 15 cancellations and the two reorders has it on them.

I just checked my order and its there. I never asked about it and i also didn't order the tv tuner.

You guys up north are experiencing some very bad customer service.

 

I understand but it's clearly not on my order and some people from UK have also identified the same issue. It's not listed in my email.

 

I guess I will if my laptop comes and it really is missing. I will try to hunt the reps down to make sure that I get my remote... However I forgot to copy down my rep's email (the one that went through ordering with me)

I know his rep number though.. I think it was 1584... and I know his name (though I don't know how to pronouce it). Is there a way I can somehow find out? lol I want to call him back and ask him.

 

The remote or the ear buds are not in my order, but the rep told me that they are included in all the orders. I ordered from Dell Germany.

 

I would suggest you just wait to see if it arrives as it is standard in each and every order. If not call XPS Support and they will send u one Im sure.

If you call a rep they have to cancel and reorder is again.

 

My (1-4th) order(s) contains:

but my order confirmation came from an email directly from my 2nd Rep assisting me.

 

alright I guess I'll just wait and see what happens
