Thanks ZMan! With the built-in INF they even turn off the backlight on my E1705 when I close the lid.

Ifish, uncompress the file, and it's named nvdm.inf in the base directory.

thanks man! This really solved my problem. Hitman wouldn't work with my driver .85 and now when I updated the driver to .92 it WORKS!!! :) ...didnt need the mod file since my lappy is supported but I did find out the hard way when I accidentally extracted the .exe to the desktop instead of opening it with winrar, about 150 icons appeared :D ...anyway thanks once again!

I've had my Dell XPS M1210 for two weeks now, everytime I put my laptop to sleep (standby) when I woke it up...the resolution would be all screwed up. I installed the 100.85 drivers and it seems to have fixed the problem. This is my first Dell, I've owned 2 HP products...one dead LCD and one dead MB, seems HP's only last two years in my hands, I hope this little dell does better...then again, I went with the 4 year warranty. Now to install my new MB in my HP and to E-bay it goes...who wants a $2k brick laying around...funny I went from a 17" X6000 to 12.1 machine....I really like the build quality of this Dell, it seems to kick @SS!! BTW...3DMark2001SE went from 10300ish to 11100ish..

I think vista driver suffers of low performance.

And what about purevideo? How do we enable it?

Just so everyone knows.... This appears to fix the issue where the screen does not come back on when you close then re-open the lid. Previously I needed to apply a registry hack to correct the issue but I did not have to do it this time. ;)

Their website went down due to a hard drive failure. They said the drivers were unaffected but I think this was one that kinda just disappeared. I had downloaded it before their website went dead so I will upload it onto my own webspace when I go into work tomorrow.

Is this the latest compare from the dell website? If I don't have any issue with my current driver, should I still upgrade it? TQ.

These are ahead of the Dell website.

I used the ones posted here and was wondering where the tray icon went.
