    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7250 (2MB cache/2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB)
OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium Edition
    DISPLAY Anti-glare, widescreen 14.1 inch display (1280x800)
VIDEO CARD Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100
MEMORY 1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz

Will this system support 2gb DDR2 RAM at 800MHz? ***800MHz*** is the question... will it support this RAM speed?

No it will not support the speed (2gb yes, but not 800MHz). If you use that ram, it will automatically downclock it to 667MHz.

So really, there's no point in spending more money on 800MHz ram. Stick with 667 from the get-go.

    Look at the chipset.

Come to think of it. What mobile chipset DOES support 800 speed memory?

None. There are no notebooks that support 800MHz ram aside from those 17" monstrosities that use a desktop cpu.
