Does anyone know if Dell sells the QuickSnap Covers for the E1705? I see the ones on their site for the Inspiron 6000, 9200, and 9300.

It shows this on the E1705 config page:

    LCD/Color Kits

    Select options below
Charcoal Leather QuickSnap™ Cover [add $49 or $2/month2]
Carbon Fiber QuickSnap™ Cover [add $49 or $2/month2]
    Cherrywood QuickSnap™ Cover [add $49 or $2/month2]
Mediterranean Blue QuickSnap™ Cover [add $49 or $2/month2]

Unfortunately, I didn't see that when the system was ordered (and it's already in production, no need to cancel the order at this point). Those on the config page don't say what part # they are or what they fit. I'd like to go ahead and order one now but I don't know which one to get (and like I said, a search for QuickSnap only yields results for the Inspiron 6000, 9200, and 9300.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Kelly

The I9300 and the E1705/I9400 are the same in size. The covers will work from the I9300 the Dell rep that I talked to also stated this.

If you look at the dimensions of both of those computers, they are exactly the same.

    Hope this helps! :)
