I recently purchased a 1720 and I am a college student that has already had and will have more papers among papers to write. I am looking for a good printer for my 1720. I'm not going to be printing out a lot of really high quality pictures, mostly just basic text and probably a few color pictures for projects, etc. I found this Dell printer http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&sku=222-5573&redirect=1 and I wanted to know if it would work well with my 1720, or if it will even work at all. Thanks.

But as far as compatibility, the printer will work on my 1720 right? I don't really see any inputs for a printer on it, honestly I don't really know what I'm looking for lol. I really just want to know if it will work with my 1720.

Most printers are USB now so most printers will work fine.

Printers, unless they're 5+ years old work with anything. USB = Universal.
Edit: Bah, beat me to it.

Don't get a Dell printer. They're just rebranded Lexmarks <--crappy.

If you just want to print, check out the Canon IP1800, cheap, small, and good quality. If you want scanning capablility too, look at the HP C4280, cheap, a little bigger, good quality.
