    Hiya

I had ordered a XPS m1330 on Sept 3 online:

but on a trip to the Dell kiosk at metrotown (Burnaby, Canada), the dell representative gave me the same system specs but with free 3 year warrenty and 2GB ram upgrade for the same sale price as my online order (1753+tax) if i canceled my original online order and submit a new order with him but using the Dell Preferred Account and only using that.

Was there a reason for pushing the DPA?

im sure they get kickbacks or extra commissions if you use the dell account... and dont forget if you dont pay on time the added 29.xx% interest rate... yes its really that high... i HIGHLY SUGGEST looking up cit bank (not citi bank) as well as dpa on places like the bbb and complaint sites... i immediatly canceled my dpa account and re-ordered using my visa card after reading 100's and trust me i mean 100's of horror stories from dpa accounts.. be careful there
