Hello -
Fantastic computer - no complaints. However, yesterday I started getting error messages on the task bar saying that changes were made to the registry. Now I have NO restore points.
How can I restore to the defaults? Am I going to have to call Dell - will they help? Am I going to have to do a whole re-install of XP? I have disks. I hope not!
Please - any help appreciated!
Frieda

Frieda,
Only place I've seen changes to the restore points are
Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > System Protection
or
Control Panel > Backup and Restore Center > Create a Restore Point -
could you post some pics or do a quick review on the m4300? thanks

I will put something together today and post. What kind of pics would you like?
