They miss out on some of the extra accessories. Not may crucial parts, remote prolly, but headphones arn't that big of a deal.
-
no xps today . so, which is a better buy, asus m50vm-x1, macbook pro, or studio 15?
-
Perhaps dell's silence has something to do with alienware's new "breed" thingy...
-
-
Well we all know the status of what alienware is and their connection to dell.
on the AW site there's this mini site called breed accompanied with "breed" video's and since it's beginning there's this whole thing of mystery around it, some say it's a new line of notebooks and systems yet it's not sure what it is, every now and then new video's appear but no information or whatever just like dell is doing right now. Perhaps XPS fusioning with AW... who knows...
(it's one big conspiracy I tell ya!!!) -
Well, it is fairly certain that XPS as it stands now will be no more. It has been relegated to a a sub brand. The XPS and Alienware design teams merged too. The XPS we know now is supposedly going to be Studio XPS later on. Still carrying the higher end specs, but not true gaming notebooks like Alienware.
-
Now that sucks I was just looking for a new notebook and really liked xps so I thought to wait for the next one :'(
You took my dreams and burned them alive XD -
I doubt it is going to change much, it is more of brand consolidation than anything. They will probably carry different designs from the current Studio line to make them a bit different for their sub brand.
-
Well they've got me curious
Really wonder what they'll come up with in the next few month's (hopefully months, can't keep waiting forever :s ( -
I would imagine we will see something by the end of next month. They'd almost have to with Apple set to release new notebooks. Unless they are having lots of problems with the next line.
-
They're just lucky I want a high end notebook with lights & tralala
otherwise I would've already bought a new clevo one ^^ -
