    Dell Partitions. HELP!!!

    Does anyone know what the different partitions r on the dells specifically the 1720, iv been looking for info about it everywhere and cant find anything. Also is there any good guides to reinstalling and reformatting vista on the system with either 1 or 2 hard drives. thanks

    There is a MediaDirect partition (3Gb), a system restore partition and a boot partition OTHER than your regular pattition. Depending if you have a large hard drive, you may have C: and D: which means they have divided your partitions to smaller sizes rather than one large.

    The below Clean Install should work if you have mediaDirect on your system.
