This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Dell PC Restore opens but wont restore!

    I currently fixed the MBR using DSRFIX from goodell, and the CTRL+F11 works, but while restoring at 70 percent I get a "A GeneralException Occurred" error and then a message that says Dell PC Restore was not successful. I did a check with DSRFIX and I did not get any alerts in the report. I have done this before and it worked (Formatted > DSRFIX > Dell PC Restore), but now I get this message that I can't deal with! Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx
