Hi all, we recently purchased a laptop from the outlet but it had some noise issues (buzzing) so we decided to return it. Before deciding to return it we tried to figure out what was causing the noise and we swapped in the battery from our other laptop and power supply and just realized that we never took our battery back out before we returned to laptop. Is this going to be a problem now? I think the battery we had was 57watts and the one that it came with was 67 or something higher. Are they going to charge us or can we get our battery back etc? UPS has already picked up the package too.

call them... they might ship your one back. probably they will arrange another pick up. to swap the battery.

is this the same type of battery? isn't is dangerous to switch battery between different model... unless one is the extended version of the other...

hi wobble thanks for the reply. Our battery was I think the 9 cell and the one that came with it was 6 cell. I assume that when a return gets back to them they review all the hardware to make sure it matches right?
