I ordered my new Dell on 12/9 and recieved a Acknowledgement. I have not recieved my Dell Confirmed email yet. I call them to see what the issue is and they told me to call back tomorrow. Everytime I have ordered in the past I got acknowledgement and confirmed email at the same time. Has anybody experienced this problem before through the Dell Outlet? Thanks

I haven't had any problems with outlet, but I've ordered general stuff from dell and never received an email though. There have been sometimes that it has skipped the confirmation email and sent an email when shipped. You also might not have received an email yet cause it is the weekend and your ordered hasn't been processed yet.
If you don't get one some time tomorrow, I would definetly call Dell and see what is up. -

Well I finally got my confirmation email. I ordered late Friday night and it finally showed up on Monday. I bought a refurbished unit and they say it will ship out on the 19th which is 8 days from now? It better be one hell of a packing job. I hope I get it before X-mas. Thanks agian for your help guys. Dell says that you sometimes have to wait 1 full business day (M-F) for your confirmation order to be sent. If you call before than they will say that the order did not go through and they will not have anything on their systems to say that you have to wait. So be patient.

I ordered an Inspiron 1501 refurbished from Dell Outlet on 12/12/06. It is 12/14/06 and I have only received an acknowledgment, not a confirmation. I guess I will call tomorrow, although I am starting to get slightly worried about my order as I have heard many horror stories about Dell customer service after the sale.

It was only $609, and this config sells at $759 new. But I noticed that the 80 GB SATA drive is not an option when buying new. I have also read many places that people sometimes do not receive what they order? Should I have any reason to be worried? -

I've made two outlet purchases, in both, my emails stated roughly a week, in reality, they both shipped the day I orderd, first one was the friday of a holiday weekend, I recieved it the following wednesday, the 2nd was placed early am on a tuesday, I recieved it on thursday, and both systems have been great, and I do plan to use the outlet again for future purchases
