    Hey all,

I'm looking at purchasing an Inspiron Studio 1555 laptop for a friend through the dell outlet store in the UK.
However all the processors show up as 'Click System ID - 0'
    See http://outlet.euro.dell.com/topics/.../en/InventorySearch?c=uk&cs=ukdfh1&l=en&s=dfh

Dumb as it sounds, can anyone confirm for me that the refurbished models do in fact come with a processor and what spec it is?

I emailed Dell a week ago and still have had no response, which I suspect is par for the course.

For starters, there's no such thing as an Inspiron Studio 1555, and second, your link is to Dimension Desktop systems.

Sigh. The site doesn't remember filter settings it seems.

Choose Inspiron Notebooks from the Stockroom dropdown and Inspiron Studio 1555 from the model menu and you'll see what I mean

If you click the "View Details" link, it does bring up the processor.

And yes, Outlet systems do include processors; they are complete systems ready to go out of the box just like a brand new one.

    This is what I'm seeing:

"Inspiron Studio 1555"...that doesn't even make any sense. Inspiron and Studio are two completely separate notebook series; there is no overlap.

We know that, but on the UK site, apparently, there is no processor listing.

    Hi,

I am having the same issue as the original poster and wondering if he has discovered a solution, the UK Dell Outlet is not showing what processor the studio 1555 laptops come with. I tried calling dell outlet but they no longer accept calls so the sales dept gave me an email address and was told to mail them my number and they would call me, 24 hours later they mailed me and said they no longer did callbacks and if i emailed my issue they would try to help, I did this and have had no response. The image below should show the problem. I have tried using multiple PCs and web browsers incase that was the issue and I have also tried clicking on the view details tab for each individual laptop and still no details listed of the processor. There is a wide variety in price of 1555 laptops on uk outlet so some must have different processors to others.

I'm afraid I can't help you much - my friend waited for her pay to come through, and the laptop she wanted sold in the meantime so she's waiting till next month. Still, someone is buying them, so they must be decent laptops.
I presume the £400ish ones are the 2000s and the £450ish ones are the 2200s, going by what the previous poster said.
