@overthemoon: Which details from your order gave you the tracking status?

 

I had a dell sales representative email me a PDF file of my order confirmation, and the name of that PDF file had some numbers in it, I used those numbers in the Star Track Express ref# field.

The number appeared to be just my order number, with the first two digits repeated, i.e. if my order number were 1234567, with 1 and 2 as the first two digits - the reference number I would use would be 121234567.

Hope you can understand what I mean. Give it a go and get back to me to tell me if it works!

Edit: Lol, your Dell ETA has been changed to the 16th too? Mine's the same, now.

Also just found out this morning that my parcel must have been on the road overnight, as it has been scanned at a town which isn't too far from here, at 7am this morning.

 

The package has not yet arrived with the courier yet. (Just my luck for living on the other side of the country) But thanks for the heads up about checking order status. I'm glad the wait will be over soon.

 

Ah. That's a darn, then. It must get flown from Sydney to Perth or something, I guess, if that's what you mean?

That's OK. Hope yours arrives safely, as do I hope with mine.

If the depot in town was open on weekends, I'd go and pick it up as soon as it arrives(I'd expect it to get there today - considering it says it arrived in that nearby town this morning), but I doubt that there'd be anyone there.

 

Thanks, yeah i live in west oz which is a real PITA when companies have their centres in sydney.

I was considering doing just that (picking it up from the courier) but i decided not to.

 

Yeah. That must suck, having to wait for everything to come across.

I just called the delivery depot, where my parcel has been scanned, and they said every thing's all locked up and I can't go in to pick it up, so that's a PITA for me - I'll have to wait 'til monday.

 

Received my 1520 today! Looks very nice!

I feel sorry for all the people who are still waiting for theirs, even though they may have ordered long before I did. I'm sure many people will be happy when they get theirs!
