    Dell Order Status

    I purchased my new dell Latitude D610 on 9/16/2005 from there it also went into pre production on the same day. Now its gone through production, Kitting, Building, Testing, and now sitting on Boxing. Its been in the boxing stage for over and day and a half. How long can i expect to take until it is shipped? I know iam excited and being impatient, but i can't help it.

    It may have shipped already, their system isn't totally reliable in that regard.

    Normally boxing stage takes 2-4 business days. This is when the laptop is shipped from Malaysia to Tennessee.

    Like Brian said, their computerize system can give you false information. I would call Dell's 1800 and check to see where it is at.

    Ya, boxing takes lotsa time.... Dell is really good.
    I placed the order for my 9300 on 14th and it arrived earlier than the prelimnary estimate.

    yes boxing took 2 days for me but overall shipping is superb. took only a week to get to my house. 700m is nice. using to type this response right now. keyboard is not bad to use. i actually like it more than my logitech wireless keyboard.

    thecollegekid, I will ask you same thing I asked Queshy. How did your 700m come with 5400 rpm HDD? I only see standard 4200 rpm on the Dell website and upgrade is not an option. Was it after market switch for you or it just came like that? And you have probably answered this question several times before but just confirming again, your machine doesn't have the mic-in flaw right?
