if you check your order status on their website at one point it will look like its stalled out at "boxing"

it's not abnormal, you laptop is assembled overseas and then shipped to texas where it is boxed up for you. if oyu search around you should be able to find what your laptop actually goes through when you order it. pretty cool read actually.

Yea... ordered mine on the 28th... it isn't supposed to ship until the 13th. The guy told me it would be here "on or before the 14th." Let's see if that actually happens. What sucks is that it's still in the "pre-production" phase, but I'm guessing the wait has to do with the core 2 duo cpu.

    T7200 (4MB/2.00GHz/667MHz)
256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS
    2 Gigs of 533
    100GB 7200RPM HDD

This thing's going to scream bloody murder when I get it though. ;)

I think one of the main shipping hubs is in Patrick. I live in the SF Bay Area, and mine went through Patrick too. Mine took about a week. My longest stage was boxing.

Well, 2 days later and it's already built. The only things left are testing (loading it up with crapware), boxing, shipping prep, and shipping. Still says it'll ship on the 13, but hopefully it'll leave a bit sooner so I can get it in time for school (having the parents drive it down is kinda lame).

My production up to boxing was completed all in one day. I hear boxing takes around 3 days. So my estimate is about 4 days in production phase
