I was thinking of picking up an E7440 from the Dell Outlet and picking it near the border, and then bringing it over to Canada. My question is that if it comes with or I buy the on-site warranty (or any warranty for that matter), can it be used when I bring the laptop into Canada?

I know Dell has that global transfer program but I'm not sure if it'll be a hit-and-miss or not. Anyone with some experience with the matter?

    Thanks!

I purchased many Dells from the USA and did the transfer to Canada, I have not had any problems as of yet,

but they will always tell you that not all aspects of the warranty maybe transferable - so it falls under the closest warranty type in the country you are transferring into.
