Anybody seen this page before? I was just googling Dell deals and came across this. Something up for tomorrow?? Looks intriguing to me!
-
I never seen that and I hope they got some good stuff coming up before the weekend!
-
weird...
guess my gf will be happy for her new inspiron -
The mystery offers are for Canada only?
-
I hope not, but that's what it looks like from that alone. I haven't found it on the US site yet.
-
Bargain prices on old stock?
-
-
I didn't think of that. Might bode well for us in the good ol' U.S.A. in the coming week.
-
Hey guys,
I got accepted to Cal State Fullerton and I have an email address and everything (I decided to go to Saddleback College, but I have no email address there until you register for classes, which is not yet.)
Do they call the school to ensure you are going there? I have the letter of acceptance with all my details and stuff..so it accepted by Student email at the school. -
^ps2cho: Shouldn't be a problem, you can register just fine at delluniversity.com with an email address from a school you aren't attending. I've never seen anything on Dell University that indicates which school you applied with, so it should go fine. If not, proof of attendance should be adequate. But I doubt they actually check.
I registered at my real school last week and again with my Ohio State (accepted, not attending) email yesterday to get the $200 coupon...the coupon works just fine with my real school's verification.
*******
Back to the "Mystery Coupon"...
I do hope they tell you what the "Mystery Offer" really is before you check out.
I can just see the receipt:
-
Hmm the myster offers seem weird. Today while I was on the phone with a DELL rep, she tried to sell me the m1330 badly. I said I would call back tomorrow and she said NO if you buy NOW I will give you a SPECIAL deal and she went from 2099 to 1850. I am in CANADA and am looking forward to the deal tomorrow. It's a good thing that I didn't fall into the rep's trick. I hope this mystery deal includes the m1330. hehehehehehe.
-
Nothing as of yet!
-
It calls them mystery coupons on their site. I can see a little picture with a inspiron notebook on it with 15%, 50%, or 75% off!.... anyone know these coupon codes
-
Can any Canadians please post the coupon for us other canadians? It was apparently emailed to those with an account on dell.ca. I just registered, but haven't received it yet.
-
I didnt recieve anything yet! When I do I will surely post here
-
-
Just wanted to bump this. I just finished an all-too-long chat with a dell rep who after much cajoling, said the coupons can only be accessed via the email they're sending out. I'm on the list but have not received any emails from dell today. If any of you have, please fill us in. Thanks.
-
If I put an order, when is the last minute that I can cancel or re order? When you look it at the order status, anytime before it says SHIPPED, you can?
-
I just chatted with an online rep on Canada's Dell website and she said that I can't cancel after 24 hours. Can anyone explain.
-
any news yet on the coupons? I've signed up too but haven't received an email. Dell rep also tried hard to sell me an m1330 today... seems like something is up!
-
went from 2400 cad to 2200 to 2000 +free shipping. there must be a deal coming.
-
A friend got a 75% code a few months back, he got a m1220 with it, I think it was $600 or so.
-
anyone get one yet?
-
If anyone here has CANADIAN coupons can you please post it. I want to buy the m1330 but want a good price for it. Thanks.
-
These coupons are one time use only, and so far, no one has gotten an email. It seems they didn't announce it yet and that site was online earlier then it was announced.
-
Yeah I haven't gotten anything from Dell either. Come to think of it, I haven't gotten from Dell in quite a while - and I am still subscribed. And it's not in my junkmail either.
-
I got a 'thank goodness it's Friday' e-flyer... but that's it. I'm getting a little anxious too.
-
Ok, got my big discount... drumroll please.... 15% Hmmm.
-
I'm sure there will only be a few people who will get the massive 75% discount and a few more who get the 50%. It's good hype for them, I've been looking forward to my e-mail all morning!
-
Good luck to you BuddieGuy. My wife is on the Dell mailing list too, so we'll see what she gets .
-
i just signed up on the dell email list so hopefully they will still send me an offer. i guess they will probably go out tomorrow morning
-
Thanks Bob! I can't wait to order a 4,000 dollar version of the m1330 for a grand! *Dreams of solid state hard drive boot up times*
-
It only applies to a few machines and I don't think the M1330 is one of them. Sorry to ruin your dream there
Edit: My mistake! I didn't see it there the last time I looked. -
Actually, the 1330 looks like it is part of the offered models. Continue dreaming BuddieGuy.
-
maybe they are waiting for 4th of july tommorow. Do these apply to US systems too? How long would they last if they are for the forth of july? A week, more?
-
So while everybody is staying excited, I'm still wondering when this is going to happen. Has anybody actually gotten their coupon yet?
-
I did. 15% off, which is what I would get anyways by ordering online, on a more customized model no less.
-
Can you use it in the EPP/Student site, or is it just for the home site? And can it be stacked w/ other discounts?
-
-
woops, it looks like we're saying the same thing lol. *erhrm* pardon me.
-
i just got an email from dell direct entitled "Save $250 on select Inspiron PCs for 3 Days Only" It seems to only apply to select preconfigured systems
-
hey guys how do you get on the mailing list for these coupons? ive ordered a m1330 but if i can cancel it and get a better price i will for sure!
-
So is this for the US too?
-
No this is for Canada only.
-
dell.ca preconfigured 1330 has 2GB ram and some other good things, I would love to get some % off it. Will see if dell sends me something...
-
Does anyone have a link to sign up for the mailing list? Thanks.
-
i think you just have to sign up for a dell account, and they will send you a "mystery coupon" in an email.
-
I don't get it. I recieved the email for the mystery coupon but it's not working.
It tells me to copy something on a page where I can enter the coupon. However there is no coupon code in the email. There's like a pink rectangle besides the "copy this" sign. I tried doing "copy shortcut" from the rectangle and It looks like the coupon code is in there however there's so many different letters that I don't even know what's part of the code and what isn't.
I've tried different combinations, usually I get "We're sorry, the coupon code you have entered is invalid. Please check the spelling of the code and the expiration date of the coupon."
With some other combinations I can get to the next screen where I have to copy some letters and numbers that appears (like the ones we sometime have to enter when we register on a new website). But then I also get the "invalid coupon code message" again and I'm back to square one.
I know this sounds really confused and my english is quite bad but maybe someone who was successful in using their coupon can understand what I'm trying to say.
Can anyone help me? -
I only got a 15% coupon discount... lol -_-
-
I have a dell account and didnt get one. I might email dell and have a little talk...[evil laugh[
lol, maybe they will send me one.
