Hey guys, I apologize if this is a bit off-topic, but a friend recently gave me his Dell monitor (2007WFP) and I connected it to my desktop. It displays fine, but there seems to be a problem with the USB ports on the monitor. When it is connected to my desktop, it stops the POST process and doesn't boot the OS. However, when I disconnect the USB ports, my computer starts up fine.
I'm not using a Dell desktop, in fact I'm not even sure what brand it is because I didn't buy this desktop. But I'd just like to know if any of you guys have had this problem before.

My desktop uses Intel D101GGC motherboard and Pentium D 805.
    It's got the Award BIOS.
