Hi guys,
Just bought a Dell Mini 9 from the outlet shop in the UK. Have given it to my parents who are off to the north america for a year. I really wanted a mini 9 with a 3g card, but in the UK they are only available from vodafone with 24 month contract. ah well.
To my surprise it turned up with a 3g card installed and the vodafone s/w installed, l added my own sim card and tested and it worked first time.
Is this the normal or was l lucky? As l might buy a second one for my wife if l can get it with 3g again.
I have also removed the 1gb stick and replaced with a 2gb one. £195 inc VAT and delivery from the outlet store, plus £20.99 for the 2gb stick

can anyone comment?

It should list on the specs that it contains the 3g card.

When you search for the Dell Mini 9 on the UK Outlet store, they are all the same spec. 1.6 CPU, 1Gb RAM, 8Gb SSD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Black only. If you can show me some other way to get the spec then please let me know.
In the UK Dell do not sell the Mini 9 with 3G from Dell.co.uk as they have a speical tie up with Vodafone. I have seen on the mydellmini site that PC World are now selling Mini 9's with 3G, but l can pick them up cheaper at the outlet store.
Think l will just bite the bullet and order one and see what l get. -
I'd say you got lucky.
