Has anyone actually tried to solder a PCI-E slot into a 10v? I know it can/has been done on the 9, but has anyone tried the 10v?
The reason i ask is because of the Broadcom Crystal HD Accelerator which helps play streaming hd,i am sure there probably isn't or one of you guys would have already tried this but it never hurts to ask.

Grab a grounded soldering Iron ($20 at ratshack)
PCI header(Unknown price)
Solder-able "threaded standoffs"
Magnifying glass solution
For practice I would suggest cutting up an old cat5 cable and soldering the wires in a " butt-weld" fashion.
EDIT:
On a side note, has the crystal HD card been tested with a mini9? I am seriously considering a VostroA90 as my web/travel PC(When I don't need my 1737's power) -
Crystal HD Card only works if you the A90/Mini 9 was pre-configured WITH a WWAN.
Without the WWAN, and "ports" or pinouts on the PCI-E card are configured differently. I read somewhere, and don't quote me on this, on mydellmini.com that Broadcom Crystal HD works with the Mini 9/A90 under those conditions.
I think the logic that follows this DOES make sense because the HP's netbooks, you can only configure either with the WWAN or with the Broadcom card in some of their models. You can't have both. And its confirmed that the pinout on the PCI-E on the Mini 9/A90 is different without the WWAN card.
