I need help. Unbeknownst to me liquid spilled under my laptop and sat there for a few hours. When I noticed this I turned the laptop off and left it for a few days to "dry out". When I turned the laptop on, my computer screen appeared completely upside down. Also, if I try to type, nothing shows. Thoughts?

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
Have you tried an external display and/or an external keyboard? Chances are your motherboard is probably hosed in some way or another, though.

Hi,
You may try pressing the keys “Alt” “Ctrl” and “Up Arrow” at the same time and see if there is any change on the display. If there is no change as Commander Wolf mentioned the liquid spillage might have shorted the keyboard. Please use the below mentioned link to view/download the Inspiron 1200Service manual. You may refer to the same and try reseating the Keyboard. Also check for any liquid presence underneath the Keyboard.

I hope this helps. Please do write back in case you need any further assistance.
Thanks & Regards
