Can MediaDirect be setup to use dual monitors? Like use an external monitor or connect to a viewer? This is useful for presentations-no need to open Vista

I tried it on 1330, didn't detect external monitor. MediaDirect is so limited when used not in vista, unfortunately :(

OK, when I tried HDMI, it worked... First MediaDirect booted into dual screen mode and then I was able to switch to external display properly usinf Fn+F8 and it automatically set the display to the max res. I wonder if sound will switch to HDMI as well (didn't try it tho).

No, I booted into media direct and both monitors were enabled. I pressed Fn+F8 once, and 1330 switched to external monitor only. Couldn't switch back tho :) Since I have a monitor, not a tv, I couldn't test HDMI audio, but it was coming out of 1330 speakers.

hmm, I am at home now so I cannot try what you said as I don't have a spare monitor. I do have a flat screen tv which I use to watch wmv files downloaded from the net thru s-video connection.
    Thanks
