As some of you know im sure, you can get a regular battery, and instead of a cd-drive you can swap in a media bay battery.

My question here is, when using 2 batteries, which one gets used first? Or do they get used at the same time? is there a way to edit which one gets used first?

Do you have a media bay battery, if so, what type of laptop and how long do you get on a charge off the media bay battery?

Anything you have to say will help,

    Thanks!

The Media Bay battery gets drawn down first (hence, worn out first), before the primary battery.

Mine adds close to 2 hours -- the primary battery gives a little over 3.5 hours, on my D830 (with its WUXGA power-hogging screen).

I'd highly suggest you buy a brand new one, as opposed to used. Since the Media Bay battery is used first -- obviously it gets pushed much harder than the main battery.
