Ey guys, my friend has a Inspiron 510m Dell and recently reformatted his computer due to an error message saying "D:\$MFT is corrupt and unreadable..." and is trying to install Microsoft Office XP Standard 2002 and is encountering this error:

"Error 1305. Setup cannot read file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\MSOWCF.DLL. Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive. For other potential solutions to this problem, see
    F:\FILES\PFILES\MSOFFICE\OFFICE10\1033\SETUP.HLP."

If anyone knows what is going wrong and how to fix it, or has any advice or tips to give, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Is your disk scratched or damaged?
