My system is the Dell M140 with the 1.7cpu, 1 gig ram, and 80gig HDD. After installing Notebook Hardware control and monitoring the temps for a couple of days, I'm getting 47c for the CPU and 33c on the HDD. I have dynamic switching on and plugged into the power supply. I'll check more tomorrow on the battery.

Using I9kFanGUI, I get a range of 45-50c for the CPU, and harddrive at 33c (60GB 7200RPM Drive).

Looks to be right inline with what I'm getting. Thanks
