Just wondered if anybody could provide some information for me.

I purchased a Dell 5520 WWAN card for my M1330 and proceeded to install it. Following the instructions in the manual I came to attach the antennas. Now I had three antennas, black with grey stripe, white with grey stripe and a blue one.

On following the instructions I attempted to attach the antennas, however for the black and white to go to the respective coloured arrows they would not reach. In particular the wire that would go to the top antenna as it were was ridiculously long and the wire meant to go to the bottom was too short.

I therefore hooked them up the way that seemed logical (i.e. the wrong way according to the documents)

I started up the laptop and I can connect fine to the Vodafone service but I'm just wondering if hooking it up this way is causing poor signal levels, etc. And if they are hooked up the wrong way, what's the best way to get the cable long enough to reach the antenna at the bottom of the card?

Thanks in advance for your help and time.
