    Dell Lattitude D520 not starting up

    Ok, this is my dads laptop. And a few months back the warrenty expired, During the time it did work it would heat up easily and if you moved the laptop in a certain way the screen would shut off. ALso the screen at times would looked like a picture thats been washed out. (like the contrast was suddenly turned up all at once on a desktop)

    SO this laptop is a little problematic and it has stopped working completely. The laptop doesnt even 'blink' when the power button is pressed. (like when the LEDs blink and the fan starts up a bit and sometimes the screen may flicker)

    So before we send the laptop in for repairs somewhere, where wondering if theirs anything that can be done on our end that may end of fixing it. o.o


    Though from what im guessing something must've burnt out in the laptop.
