    I have a Dell Latitude E7450 laptop

    I got Windows 7 installed.

Then when I try to install drivers, it says "The procedure entry point"/ "Entry point not found"

The full error is Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point AddDllDirectory could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

    I found this page https://www.dell.com/community/Latitude/E6440-entry-point-error-when-installing-drivers/td-p/7274149

It says to install install Windows 6.1-KB2533623

    This link https://www.dell.com/support/articl...ed-to-install-dell-update-package-dup?lang=en

    says

The latest KB4457144, with additional fixes including KB2533623. And it has a link to download KB4457144 here https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4457144

I downloaded and installed that and restarted. But I still get the same error

    added- I guess I should do this one too https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Windows 7 x64 KB2685811

Simpler solution is just to Update Windows 7!

Some apparently also mention how to put together a fully updated slipstreamed Windows 7 ISO.

I just tested on a Dell E7440 and this one definitely fixed it KB4457144 I had installed VS 2015 redistributable before though that probably didn't make a difference.

Doing a full update of e.g. 170 things (not the optional ones as they're not necessary), can take an hour and a half. Whereas windows itself can be installed in 10min. So it's good to just install the one you need, if you don't need a fully up to date one.
