    Hi,
I have a Dell Latitude D520 for work and I'm trying to work out if I can get rid of my desktop PC and switch to the laptop all the time. I have my desktop PC connected to a LCD screen and also a normal CRT. Would it also be possible to connect the laptop to both of these monitors? In affect I would have 3 screens (including the built in display).

    Cheers

Yes but you need something like the Matrox DualHeadtoGO

    Thanks for the reply.

I also found this thread which was helpful
"Can I have 3 monitors with my laptop?"

The DualHeadtoGO looks good and the price isn't bad ($169 from the Matrox website).

I see from photos on the website that it is possible to have an independent display on the laptop and then one stretched display on the two external displays. This looks perfect for me.
So does anyone have one, thoughts?
I need to send an email to Matrox to find out where I can buy one in Germany.
