What is the empty connection next to the mem for?
It looks like the size of a mem.

Hello! Can anyone tell me whether I can connect an external USB 2.0 DVD-RW to the Dell Latitude C610 using a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card?

Will the laptop's motherboard keep working fine if I had to do this?

    Can anyone guide me please?
