Hello Everyone,
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 and the monitor appears to be going out. I just recently deployed and a couple of days ago the monitor worked fine, but just last night it will not display. You can hardly see what is on the screen, but whe you first turn the computer on, it flashed bright and then went back dim. Any ideas what it might be? Could the monitor be going out? When I hook the laptop up and use the external monitor port, it works just fine. I can only "NOT" see the laptop's monitor. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's probably going out on you. It's probably the Inverter or the CCFL itself. Here are some links that might help you.
